|  The ranks of the CU NationTM network have now grown to over 180 advocates.
Grassroots advocates have joined from every province and every Central in the system as well as l'Alliance des caisses populaires de l'Ontario.
Recruitment got a big boost during this spring’s AGM season. A CU NationTM booth at the Credit Union Central of Manitoba’s tradeshow attracted new advocates in March. And in April, attendees to the Atlantic Central AGM in Charlottetown as well as SaskCentral delegates meeting in Saskatoon were treated to presentations about the CU Nation network.
The special “Advocacy AM” session at the Canadian Conference in Vancouver got advocates up and moving early with the rousing sounds of Drum Café, followed by a training session on the grassroots approach with Canadian Central’s Brigitte Goulard, Kevin Dorse and Libro Financial’s Harry Joosten.
