CUMIS Board of Directors elects new chair

June 11, 2007

Burlington, ON -- The Board of Directors of The CUMIS Group Limited (CUMIS) is pleased to announce the election of its chair and other key positions at the organization's recent annual general meeting.

Elected to the position of Board chair is Russ Fast, chair of Credit Union Central of Manitoba and vice-chair of Steinbach Credit Union. A native of Steinbach, Manitoba, Russ has been a member of the CUMIS Board of Directors since 2001 and has served as Board vice-chair since 2005.

"I would like to thank my fellow directors for their confidence and support," Fast said. "I view this as a  tremendous opportunity to work with a group of individuals who are not only exceptionally capable, but have the passion to drive this company toward future successes."

Elected Board vice chair is Scott Kennedy, CEO of Superior Credit Union in northern Ontario and a member of the CUMIS Board of Directors since 1999.

Glenn Hymers, president, Glenn S. Hymers Inc. is elected chair of the Audit Committee. Chris Catliff, president and CEO of North Shore Credit Union in British Columbia is elected chair of the Conduct Review and Nominations committees. Camille Thériault, président et chef de la
direction of the Fédération des caisses populaires acadiennes is elected chair of the Governance & Human Resources Committee.
