Last week, Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR) hosted a webinar that examined how to build a corporate community involvement strategy.
Recognizing that active partnerships with governments and/or non-profit organizations within the countries and communities where an organization operates can drive significant social and business benefits, CBSR shared an approach to developing corporate community involvement strategies, of interest to credit unions.
This approach includes building executive support, identifying the organization's "cause" and establishing the criteria for partnership selection. Webinar participants also heard from LoyaltyOne and Capital One as they shared how they transformed their corporate community involvement strategies into business strategies.
