Alexander Gracie
Mr. Gracie dedicated over 40 years of volunteer service with Ontario's credit unions. He became a member of the Stelco Employees Credit Union (now Avestel Credit Union) in 1958 where he served as Vice President and President.
Mr. Gracie was elected as a director of Credit Union Central of Ontario in 1972 and re-elected every three years until his retirement in 1992, holding a number of positions on the Executive Committee including first and second vice chairman and chairman. He held director appointments to the CUMIS Group of Companies, Ontario Share and Deposit Insurance Corporation, Canadian Co-operative Credit Society (now Credit Union Central of Canada) and the World Council of Credit Unions.
He served as Chairperson of the Boards of the CUMIS Group of Companies, Canadian Co-operative Credit Society and World Council of Credit Unions. Mr. Gracie has received Distinguished Service Awards from the Credit Union Central of Ontario and the World Council of Credit Unions

Robert Ingram
Mr. Ingram began his career in the cooperative sector in 1948 for United Cooperatives of Ontario, in 1950 he moved to the Ontario Credit Union League and in 1958 became the first General Manager of the Canadian operation of CUNA International and CUNA Supply Coop. In 1969 he was appointed the first General Manager of the National Association of Canadian Credit Unions (NACCU) predecessor to Canadian Co-operative Credit Society -- known today as Credit Union Central of Canada and held a variety of positions until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Ingram also held a number of volunteer offices in the cooperative sector including secretary and director of the I.A.M.D. (International Association of Managing Directors) and organization for credit union leagues and centrals in the USA and Canada, director of Coop Union of Canada and director of United Cooperatives of Ontario.
In addition to this award Mr. Ingram has received a special award from the World Council of Credit Unions in recognition of this contributions.

Todd Manrell
Mr. Manrell began his volunteer service with B.C's credit unions in 1976 at Richmond Savings Credit Union.
While remaining a director at the local credit union he became a director at Credit Union Central of B.C., holding a number of positions on the Executive Committee including chairperson, first vice chairperson and member of the Legislative Committee and Credit Committee. He held director appointments to Credit Union Central of Canada from 1986 to 1998 where he served as Chairperson for seven years; the Canadian Cooperative Association, Canadian Cooperative Agricultural Financial Services and Canadian Cooperative Leasing Services.
He also served as a delegate to the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) General Assembly, members of the Policies Committee, President from 1995 to 1997, and held other positions including Second Vice-Chairperson and Treasurer.

John Nicholson
Mr. Nicholson began his volunteer service with Nova Scotia credit unions in 1950 at Sydney Credit Union, where he remains a member and served as a director and President.
While remaining a director at the local credit union, in the 1970s he became a director at Credit Union Central of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Credit Union Stabilization Fund, Canadian Co-operative Credit Society and World Council of Credit Unions. He served as Chairman of each of these organizations. He had retired from all these organizations by 1986 with the exception of his local credit union.
Mr. Nicholson was a Professor of Sociology at the University College of Cape Breton.
