When redesigning a new look to the organization’s website, Coast Capital Savings looked beyond using a traditional, standard website template. Instead, Coast Capital Savings made it their own based on their brand and unique needs. As a result, “Julie” was born. “Julie” is an online greeter who uses tongue-in-check humour to offer in-depth information on products and services. Coast Capital Savings can offer consistent, easy to find information while taking advantage of the web’s flexibility to build their brand more effectively.

While the online greeter functionality builds awareness for the website, Coast Capital Savings has also made changes to improve customer service by providing access to online banking services which is launched concurrently with the online greeter program. This functionality is also reflective of a new, open design concept exhibited in Coast Capital Savings’ branches.

Through the integration of online services and branch design, Coast Capital Savings has raised the bar on developing an innovative brand experience for the member that is unmatched in the financial services industry.
