Young Credit Union Leaders Recognized

The National Credit Union Young Leaders Award recognizes tomorrow’s leaders in Canada’s credit union system. The 2005 award winner was Sandra Phillips, Manager, Marketing, Sales and Operations, Powell River Credit Union Financial Group, BC. Sandra was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to cover tuition and travel costs to attend a leadership development program at a recognized university in Canada.

Four other outstanding finalists were also commended: Darcy Mykytyshyn, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Community Savings, AB; Jacqueline Jardine, Assistant General Manager, NBTA Credit Union, NB; Lisa Haché, Human Resources/Training Manager, Your Credit Union, ON; and Lisa Patterson, Manager, Human Resources, North Peace Savings and Credit Union, BC.
