Young Credit Union Leaders Show Promise

The National Credit Union Young Leaders Award recognizes tomorrow’s leaders in Canada’s credit union system. The 2006 award winner was Sean Lesy, Executive Manager of Finance Services, Lloydminster Credit Union, SK. Sean was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to cover tuition and travel costs to attend a leadership development program at a recognized university in Canada.

Four other outstanding finalists were also commended: Ron Dau, Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications, Envision Financial, BC; Michelle Manary, Vice-President, Human Resources, Assiniboine Credit Union, MB; Nicole Reiniger, Accountant for Common Wealth Credit Union Limited, AB; and Serese Selanders, Acting Vice President of Operations, Saskatoon Credit Union, SK.
